Obituary of Albert Lambariello
Albert J. Lambariello, 77, of Jackson passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township on Wednesday, September 17, 2014. Al was born in Newark, raised in Union City and had lived in Wallington before settling in Jackson in 2007. He was a 1959 graduate of Rutgers College of Pharmacy. Al was a U.S. Army Reservist stationed at the Brooks Army Hospital, Texas in the Medical Corps. Along with his wife, he was the owner and pharmacist at Cavallo Pharmacy & Surgical Supply, Garfield until his retirement in 1995. Al is a member of the Rotary Club of Jackson and a former member and past president of the Rotary Club of Garfield. He was honored twice a Paul Harris Fellow. Al was a former member of the Board of Directors for the Bergen County Visiting Nurses Association. He was a member of the NJ Society of Hospital Pharmacists. Al had a passion for photography but his true love was his family.
Al is survived by his wife of 54 years, Emily; two sons, Joseph A. Lambariello and his wife, Susan of Warren and Michael T. Lambariello and his wife, Claire of Randolph; and six grandchildren, Kevin, Elizabeth, Brian, Christine, James, and Nicole.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route #524), Freehold Township on Friday, September 19, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 9:00 AM for the procession to St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township for his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rutgers Cancer Institute of NJ Foundation (Pediatric Cancer Research), 120 Albany Street, Tower 2, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.
