Edna May Hammerstone Harris, left this world peacefully on Monday, September 22, 2014 at home surrounded by her family at the golden age of 81, to be with the love of her life, her childhood sweetheart, James Harris, Sr., whom proceeded her in death on September of 1984. They met at Ardena School in Kindergarten in Howell Township. Their love bloomed into a great romance on July 20, 1952, when they were joined as husband and wife. As Mom comes to rest now in heaven, in the arms of our dad, their love will continue in the garden of yellow roses and the love of her family that passed before her. Mom will be deeply missed and always in our hearts.
