Obituary of Anna D'Alessandro

Anna D'Alessandro, 78, of Manalapan passed away at home on Sunday, September 28, 2014. Anna was born in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Manalapan 28 years ago. She was a secretary for Manufacturers Trust in New York City retiring over 40 years ago. Anna was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Englishtown. She was predeceased by her husband, Rocco D'Alessandro in 2010; and a daughter, Louise Casale in 1996. Anna is survived by two grandsons, Jason Casale and his wife, Aimee of Edison and John Casale and his fiancée, Elizabeth Chomko of Manalapan; a great granddaughter, Joanna Casale; two brothers, Augie Guido of Staten Island and Joseph Guido of Florida; and a sister, Frances Shawan of Brooklyn. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 8:45 AM for the procession to Our Lady of Mercy Church, 58 Main St, Englishtown for her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass.
