Obituary of Margaret Wells

Margaret B. Wells, 80, of Howell, NJ died on Monday, October 6, 2014 after a long illness. Born and raised in Bloomfield, Margaret moved to Howell in 1961. She started her career working for Hoffmann- La Roche in the 1950s and 60s, and later worked as a legal secretary from 1983 until her retirement in 1997. Margaret was predeceased by her mother, Margaret Grasso in 1952; her father George P. Butt in 1977; her husband, Charles J. Wells in 2000; her nephew, Chris Koller in 2013; and her daughter, Elizabeth A. Wells in 2014. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Wells of Freehold, NJ; and many cousins. Visitation will be held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, October 12, 2014 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home at 9:00 AM on Monday, October 13, 2014 for the procession to St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township for her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass. Interment will follow in St. Anne's Cemetery, Wall.
