Condolences
Gene was a man who put his heart and soul into everything. He was the most talented, skilled and meticulous technician and craftsman I had the pleasure to know. Whether he was working on an aircraft or a home project, if he repaired something, it was undoubtedly better than the original when he finished. If he handcrafted something, it was better than factory made. I brag about him often to technicians recalling what a brilliant and dedicated technician he was. He was truly the best of the best in aviation. Gene’s artistic talent touched our lives and made them richer. He shared and influenced us with his appreciation of music and art, not to mention his remarkable drawings. He had the most creative and authentic Halloween costumes, that were perfect down to every detail. Gene was a loving, kind and sensitive man that valued his relationships. He loved his family and friends and you were fortunate if you were in his circle. He loved being a father and took great pride in that role. He was a supportive friend and would lend a hand or a shoulder when you needed one. To Maria, Linda, Alex, Masha, Rick, Tim and Matt, my heartfelt condolences to you and my regrets for not being there to mourn Gene’s passing and to celebrate his life with you. May loving and happy memories of Gene, fill the void in your hearts. My fondest Aloha, dear friend, Gene. May you soar with the angels.
My heart breaks for the Partala family and this tremendous loss. Such an incredibly sweet man and neighbor. I enjoyed listening to him speak of his life and family and I wish him eternal happiness wherever he is. He's earned it. Lots of love, Keith and Heather Trout

I will never forget you Gene Partala. I think back to our working days at the Philadelphia airport. You were known as our "Sheet metal Mechanic" because of your expertise in repairing sheet metal boo-boos. I remember your gentle cooperative way as a co-worker. I remember the times we shared beer and pizza together. I'm enjoying the collage of photo's of aircraft over-nighting in PHL that you gave to me at my retirement in 1993. My prayers go out to your grieving family, Gene. It was a pleasure to know you. See you later, pal.
