Obituary of Anthony Conk

ANTHONY "TONY" L. CONK, 42, of TOMS RIVER, died Sunday, June 15, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Mr. Conk was born in Neptune and had lived in Freehold Township before moving to Toms River in 1999. He was a truck parts man for John Blewett Inc., Herbertsville and Howell, for more than 15 years. "The family wishes to acknowledge and thank everyone for their generosity and support through these difficult times." He was predeceased by his mother, Joan Conk; and a nephew, Christopher, in 2007. He is survived by his fiancee, Denise Maynard of Toms River; his father, Howard Conk of Freehold Township; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Howard and Eileen Conk of Jackson, Edwin and Kim Conk of Toms River, and John and Frances Conk of Farmingdale; a sister and brother-in-law, Tina and Russ Clark of Jackson; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; and his soon to be mother-in-law, Virginia Campbell of Lakehurst. Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold Township. Friends and relatives are invited to attend his funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Harmony Cemetery, Jackson.
