Obituary of Joan Clemenza

Joan Clemenza, 67, of Freehold passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Joan was born, raised and had lived her whole life in Brooklyn until moving to Surrey Downs in 2014. She was an executive assistant for A.I.G., New York City for over twenty-five years retiring in 2013. Joan was predeceased by her husband, Russell Clemenza in 1991. She is survived by her daughter, Kim Marie Riccio and her husband, Chris of Howell; a son, Michael Clemenza of Brooklyn; three grandchildren, Carmela, Alyssa and Christopher; a sister, Lorraine Tennaro and her husband, Joseph of Washington Township; two nieces, Elaine Tennaro and Denise Aurecchione; a grandniece, Amanda; a grandnephew, Justin; and many cousins. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, NJ on Friday, November 7, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 9:00 AM for the procession to St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township , for her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass.
