Obituary of Delores LaConte
DOLORES M. LaCONTE, 81, of FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, died Wednesday, June 25, at home. Mrs. LaConte was born and raised in Newark and had lived in West Orange, Hazlet and Morganville before moving to Freehold Township in 2007. Mrs. LaConte was a former member of the Hazlet Seniors and their Bowling Team. She was also a former member of the Italian American Club of Hazlet. Mrs. LaConte was a Line Worker for Charles of the Ritz, Holmdel, for many years retiring in 1975.
She was predeceased by two brothers and seven sisters. Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Nicholas A. LaConte, Sr. of Freehold Township; one son and and daughter-in-law: Nicholas A. LaConte, Jr., and his wife, Lisa, of Morganville; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Denise Cooper and her husband, Jeff, of Freehold Township, and Susan Beringer and her husband, Robert, of Flemington; one brother, Joseph De Mauro of Wall Township, one sister, Marie Malangone of Toms River, and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Clayton and McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold Township. Relatives and friends may gather at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Funeral Home for the Rite of Committal followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Twp. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dolores' memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 801 Broad Street, Shrewsbury, NJ 07702.
