Obituary of Rose Conti

ROSE CONTI, 86, of HOWELL, died Wednesday, June 25, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Mrs. Conti was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to Staten Island, where she had lived most of her life, and moved to Howell Township in 2002. She was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, Lakewood. She was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband, Salvatore, in 2003. Surviving are one son, Salvatore G. Conti of Staten Island, N.Y.; one daughter, Mary Ann Ortenzi of Howell; one sister, Helen Goodrowe of Long Island, N.Y.; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Visiting from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. Relatives and friends may gather at 9 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home for the Rite of Committal followed by her 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 43 Madison Avenue, Lakewood.
