Obituary of Dolores Leventhal

Dolores O. Leventhal, 85, of Freehold Township passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Cliffs at Eagle Rock, West Orange. Dolores was born in Voorhees, was raised in Goldston, NC, and had lived in New Monmouth and Matawan before moving to Freehold. She was the former president of the Baptist Home Society, Newark and a member of the Ardena Baptist Church, Howell. Dolores was predeceased by her husband, Charles E. Leventhal and a sister, Nancy Coldren. She is survived by her children, Charles David Leventhal of Freehold and his fiancée, Sharon Rich, Ruth E. Leventhal of Freehold Twp. and Rebecca Hamilton and her husband, Glenn R. of Freehold Twp.; a grandson, David-John Leventhal of Freehold; three sisters, Elva Fields of NC, Linda Lauritizan of CA, and Deborah Mason of NC; and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, NJ on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 9:30 AM Funeral Service at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 19, 2014. Interment will follow in Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.
