Obituary of Helen Konic

Helen "Mac" Konic, 88, of Howell passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Brandywine at Howell. Helen was born in Scotland, came to America at the age of 2 and had lived in Harrison, Kearny, Colonia, Rahway and Toms River before moving to Brandywine 3 years ago. Helen was predeceased by her first husband, William T. McLachlan and her second husband, Paul S. Konic; and seven brothers and sisters. She is survived by a brother, Thomas Gilfillan; six children, Jane Liquore, William M. McLachlan, Denise E. McLachlan, Roberta Kleban and her husband, Randall, Mark D. McLachlan, Sandra J. McLachlan and her husband, Charles Sayer; four grandchildren, Heather, Daniel, Steven and Michael; and three great grandchildren, William, Mason and Corbin. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, November 23, 2014 from 2:00 to 5:30 PM with her funeral service at 5:30 PM.
