Obituary of Vera Lazarew
Vera Lazarew, 102, of Toms River passes away at home on Thursday, November 20, 2014. Vera was born in Czerkassy, Ukraine and had lived in Troy, NY and Montvale before moving to Toms River in 1972. She was a member of St. Alexander Nevsky Russian Orthodox Cathedral, Howell.
Vera was predeceased by her husband, Konstantyn Lazarew in 2002 and a brother. She is survived by a daughter, Victoria Hall and her husband of Toms River; four grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and a brother, Oleg Alber of Jackson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:00 AM funeral liturgy on Monday, November 24, 2014 at St. Alexander Nevsky Russian Orthodox Cathedral, 200 Alexander Avenue, Howell. A pannyhida will be held at 8:00 PM on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at St. Alexander Nevsky Russian Orthodox Cathedral. Interment will follow in St. Vladimir Russian Orthodox Cemetery, Jackson.
