Obituary of Margaret Kane

Margaret Rita Kane, 91, of Freehold Township died Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Sunrise Senior Living, Jackson. Margaret was born and raised in Eckley, PA and had lived in Alabama, Indiana, Michigan, and Kentucky before moving to Freehold Township in 1967. She was a graduate of Mercy Fitzgerald Nursing School in PA. Margaret was a Registered Nurse at Six Flags Great Adventure for over 24 years retiring in 2005. She was a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Freehold. Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Edward M. Kane, Sr. in 1990; five brothers and four sisters. She is survived by four sons, Col. Edward M. Kane, Jr., Retired and his wife, Marion of Germany, Mark A. Kane and his wife, Kim of League City, TX, Thomas J. Kane of Freehold Township and Michael C. Kane and his wife, Holly of Flower Mound, TX; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Butchie Zoshak and Robert Zoshak, both of PA; a sister, Teresa Corazza of NJ; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, November 28, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00AM Funeral Mass on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, 898 Centre Street, Freeland, PA.
