Obituary of Ryan Connell

Ryan Connell, 27, of Jackson passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, November 25, 2014. Ryan was born in Freehold and raised in Howell. He was a graduate of Colts Neck High School, received his associate's degree from Ocean County Community College and was attending Rowan University majoring in history. Ryan was a chef at Battleground Country Club. He served his country proudly, as an infantryman in the U.S. Army, in Iraq for one tour during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Ryan was a Buffalo Bills and NJ Devils fan and had a love for the Star Wars franchise. Ryan was predeceased by his parents, William James Connell in July and Lucille M. Connell in 1995. He is survived by his brother, Dylan Connell and his wife, Carley of Jackson; a niece, Hailey Lou; and his nephews, Taylor and Aaron. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, December 1, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 11:00 AM funeral service at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. Interment will follow in Brig. Gen. Wm. C.
