It is with a heavy heart that I say good-bye to Carmen. She was the epitome of being a caring, compassionate and giving person. She touched so many lives in so many ways... I am grateful that I was able to spend some time with her shortly before she passed. I will always cherish our friendship and keep her close in my heart. We can't even begin to describe our sadness losing our friend Carmen. For over 40 years, she was part of our life and considered part of our "family". There are so many memories of trips to Europe with her and Al, birthdays celebrated, moments shared both happy and sad. Lifetime friends like Carmen will never be forgotten and will always have a special place in our hearts. She will truly be missed, but we're glad she's at peace now and no longer suffering. We loved you Carmen - smile down on us from heaven.

Can anyone have had a better laugh! There are so many wonderful memories I have of Aunt Carmen and I will cherish them all. I feel so fortunate that we became close again over the past few years and she got to spend time with her grand nieces and visit us here in California. Now that she joins her dear mother and her sister in the great beyond, we who remain behind will carry her in our hearts.
