You were like a mother to me. I felt so sorry when I was not able to attend the celebration of your 90th Birthday. On that special occasion, I missed the chance to celebrate our birthdays together. I missed the chance to be with you once again.
I will never forget you Mamang Luisa/Nay Luying...
How can I? We have the same birthdays. .. our names are like a perfect combination. Manuelita and Luisa.
Every time I have a chance to watch EWTN here at home in the Philippines..I always remember you because during my short stay with you as your carer, we watched EWTN together. We had our daily routine. We ate together, prayed together, exercised together and slept on the same room together. From Dawn till dusk you were my company! You and Amy were my family during my stay there in Howell. With Vangie, Ler and Papang you made my stay a memorable one.
Sorry again, Mamang that I was not able to visit you.
How I wish I was there with you when you were sick and dying...with Amy so broken-hearted. How I wish I am there with Amy now physically to give her comfort and an assurance that she is not alone. Her relatives and friends will be there for her. (although not always physically)
Lastly, I would like to say Thank you Nay Luying for making me part of the "DASH" in your life. Shortimed though, but memories with you will always stay in my heart. You will always be remembered in my prayers.
Don't worry Mamang, we will take care of Amy. Go on to your journey home in heaven. Rest in Peace! I love you!
