Obituary of Jean Barone

Jean Barone, 71, of Wall passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. She was a lifelong resident of Neptune City, moving to Wall in 2011. Jeannie drove for First Student Bus Company in Neptune City for the past 12 years. She has devoted her time lately to Wag on Inn Animal Rescue, helping to transport dogs on the "freedom train". She was an avid lover of all animals, but her fabulous dog Daisy and former dog Abby held a special place in her heart. Jean was predeceased by her former husband, Benjamin Barone, Jr.; her beloved son, Scott Barone; and her son-in-law, Gregg Ulias. She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Barone-Ulias; her precious granddaughter, Francesca "Frankiee" Ulias; her sister and brother-in-law, Christine and James Cattanach; goddaughter, Jamie; her in-laws, Vivian and Anthony Barone; John Barone; Frank Barone; Grace and Russel Tilton; Peter Barone; her many nieces and nephews; and dear friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at the Church of Ascension, 501 Brinley Avenue, Bradley Beach on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM.
