I am deeply saddened by the loss of a good friend and great team mate. Mick was always fun to be with. When DU would play in the NY area we would always manage to find each other at the games and have a good laugh. I will truly miss you Mick...May God Bless you and may God bless and look after your family. You will be in my prayers
Dear Family Very sorry to hear about Mickey. We had fun times together back at Duquesne U. where we played football. It was special because we were undefeated and Mickey palyed a role in that season. He was always a joy to be around. I could always go to Mickey for a joke or laugh. He could be serious too, of course. I remember our times together even though it was 40 years ago. God Bless all of you Jack Horgan Pittsburgh
Mickey, I will always remember what we did at Duquesne University, the greatest football team that the school ever had. You and everyone on that team committed to it's success. You were a major part of that success, I hope your family knows that. God Bless you my friend, and I know you are talking to Jesus explaining to Him the number of tackle you had in the championship game. God Bless my friend. Stef #66
I am sorry to hear about the passing of Mick. I met him when I started here at Old Bridge and he was at Arbill and we formed a friendship and stayed in touch even when the company stopped doing business when he left and moved to Madsen and Howell. And sure enough he got those prices to where we could also continue a working relationship as well. He was a kind gentle man who treasured his wife and son. My deepest condolences to the two of you. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
When there is love, any life is cut too short. Hopefully it will help to lessen the sorrow of Mick’s death to realize that so many of his friends share your grief. I know you are grateful for the many happy years you shared with Mick. May those memories be a source of comfort to you. I only wish we lived closer together so I could be with you at this time. I send my love and prayers.
What a pleasure and honor it has been for us to know Mick over the past thirty five years and to have had him in our family. Bright, generous, sociable, a true friend and always direct. He had no hidden agendas. He distinguished right from wrong with passion, for he valued honesty so highly. There are so many positive adjectives to describe him. Most of all we are thankful for the love he gave so freely to our sister Mary Ann and Stevie. He made our lives better and we will miss him, for there is no other like him.
