Obituary of Vincent Simone
Vincent A. Simone, 77, of Marco Island, Florida and Manalapan, New Jersey passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Physicians Regional Hospital, Naples, Florida. Vinny was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He had lived on Staten Island, New York before retiring in 1995 and then spending winters on Marco Island and living in Manalapan spending time with his family. Vinny was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a graduate of C.W. Post University. Vinny retired as a Vice President in the Cost Analysis Division of J.P. Morgan Chase in 1995 after forty years of service. He was an avid reader, enjoyed working out and cherished his time in the sun at the beach. Vinny was a devoted NY Giants and Yankee fan but most of all his family was his life.
Vinny is survived by his wife of twenty-four years, Carol Simone; his children, Teresa Hargrave of Manalapan, Lisa Cardinali of Monroe, and Stephen Simone and his wife, Carolyn of Staten Island; eight grandchildren, Bradley, Krystal, Alexis, Christopher, Nicole, Michael, Alyssa, and Julianna; two brothers, Joseph and Robert Simone both of Staten Island; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 8:30 AM for the Procession to St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 186 Gordons Corner Road, Manalapan for his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Vinny's name may be made to the Brain Trauma Foundation, 7 World Trade Center, 34th Floor, 250 Greenwich Street, NY, NY 10007.
