Obituary of Nancy DeSanto
Nancy DeSanto, 90, of Manchester passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Nancy was born in Brooklyn, NY and had lived in Staten Island before moving to New Jersey in 2005. She was a member of the Great Kills Friendship Club of Staten Island, the Cooking Club and the Italian American Club at Leisure Village West. Nancy loved her family and was the happiest when she was with them. She adored her grandchildren and was a loving mother.
She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent DeSanto in 1977; and a son, Vincent DeSanto, Jr. in 1990. Nancy is survived by four daughters, Louise Levenson and her husband, Ken of Manchester, Nancy Kulp and her husband, Andrew of Freehold Twp., Jennifer Castagna and her husband, Phillip of Mount Bethel, PA and Jacqueline D'Angelo and her husband, Joseph of Marlboro; seven grandchildren, Joseph, Lauren, Alexis, Nicole, Erica, Alyssa and Kevin; and three great grandchildren, Lorelai, Gabriella and Ralph.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 9:00 AM for the procession to St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township for her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn. For those who desire, memorial donations in memory of Nancy may be made to a charity of your choice.
