Obituary of William Hine

William H. Hine, 91, of Howell passed away with his family at his side at CentraState Medical Center on Wednesday, February 18, 2015. He was born and raised in Jersey City, settling in Freehold over fifty years ago. Bill was a longshoreman for ILA Local 1588, Bayonne working on the Bayonne docks for forty years. He enjoyed Atlantic City and the Freehold Racetrack. Bill was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Hine in 1994; and his son, Douglas Hine in 2011. He is survived by two sons, William Hine and his wife, Nina of Brick, and David Hine and his wife, Carol of Long Branch; four daughters, Kathy Forlenza and her husband, Gary of Marietta, GA, Debbie Marshall and her husband, Dave of Jackson, Nancy Bailey and her husband, Ricky of Jackson, and Sharon O'Neill and her husband, Michael; one daughter-in-law, Cathy Hine of Jackson; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; three brothers, Donald Hine and his wife, Judy of Carteret, Bobby Hine and his wife, Joanne of Manchester and Kenny Hine of Jersey City; one sister, Diane Ameiorsano and her husband, Jude of Texas; and two sisters-in-law, Jackie Hine Tanner of Lyndhurst and Dolores Hine of FL. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
