Obituary of Cynthia Kaufmann

Cynthia A. Kaufmann, 55, of Farmingdale passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Cindy was born in Queens, New York, raised as an Army brat and had lived in Long Branch before moving to Farmingdale in 1994. She was the supervisor of assembly at W.L. Gore, Wall Township for the past thirty years. Cindy was an animal lover but most of all she adored her three cats. Cindy was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Helen Kaufmann; a sister, Cheryl Kaufmann; and her first feline companion, Pretty Girl. She is survived by her sister, Linda Kaufmann and her husband, Michael McCarthy; her niece, Donna Rosato and her husband, John of Jackson; a grand niece, Marissa; and a grand nephew, Ian; and her three faithful feline companions, Tigger, Peanut, and Screech. A gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, on Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 7:00 to 8:00 PM with her memorial service to follow at 8:00 PM.
