Obituary of Bonnie Sorokata

Bonnie Lynn Sorokata of East Branch, NY, formerly of Staten Island, NY, a homemaker, died Saturday, March 7, 2015 at her home. She was 66.The daughter of Clara Winters DiStefano and the late Joseph Andrews, she was born December 9, 1948 in Staten Island, NY. Survivors include her husband, Walter M. Sorokata, II, at home; two daughters, Wendy Sorokata Acosta of Florham Park, NJ and Danielle Becker and her husband Robert of Howell, NJ; two sons, Walter Sorokata, III of Staten Island, NY, and Shayne Sorokata of Staten Island and his fiancée Marcie Kaplin of Eatontown, NJ; six grandchildren, Bradley, Taylor, and Maya Becker, Isabella and Kayla Acosta, and Max Sorokata; two brothers, Joseph Andrews and Albert Andrews; three sisters, Sherri O'Keefe and her husband Kevin, Carol Kane and her husband Jack, and Candy Becker; and several nieces and nephews.She is predeceased by one son, David Purvis.Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with her funeral service at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Adelphia Cemetery, Wyckoff Mills Road, Adelphia.
