Obituary of Margaret Bowden

Margaret "Marge" M. Bowden, 88, of Howell passed away peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Marge grew up in Maplewood and had lived in and worked in Ocean Grove for 41 years before moving to Howell Township 19 years ago. She had a passion for cooking for her work place and family gatherings. Marge loved her times spent traveling with her family to Lancaster, PA, Myrtle Beach, SC and most of all she loved Spring and Fall in Williamsburg, VA. Family was everything to her and she was everything to her family. Marge was predeceased by her husband, Ray Bowden; her brother, Walter "Skip" Krebs; and a brother-in-law, Martin Sheehan. She is survived by her son, William Bowden and his wife, Suzanne of Del Haven; two daughters, Margaret "Dolly" Wray and her husband, Gene of Wall and Doris Bowden of Howell Township; five grandchildren, Deanna Wray, Patricia Duerr and her husband, Jason, Brian Bowden, Nicole Bowden and Giovanni Bowden; four great grandchildren; her sister Marie Sheehan of North Middleton; and her sister-in-law Barbara Krebs. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives are invited to attend her 11:00 AM funeral service at the funeral home on Thursday, March 19, 2015. Entombment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold Township.
