Obituary of Theresa Cundari
Theresa Cundari, 87, of Spring Lake passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at The Wexford Assisted Living at Wall. She was born in Brooklyn and had lived in Staten Island and Freehold Township before moving to Spring Lake. Theresa was a homemaker and a cook for the NY City Board of Education. She was a giving person who loved her grandchildren, creating a party for any occasion and the Italian-American pop singer Jimmy Roselli.
Theresa was predeceased by her husband, Joseph F. Cundari; her son, Frank Cundari; and her brothers, Anthony Cretella, Louis Cretella and Frank Cretella. She is survived by her two sons, Louis G. Cundari and his wife, Dawn of Belmar and John Cundari and his wife, Fran of Staten Island; her daughter-in-law Carol Cundari of Staten Island; seven grandchildren, Richard Cundari and his wife, Mary, Janet Pascale and her husband, Peter, Christy Cundari, Liana Cundari, Joseph Cundari and his wife, Mary Ann, Theresa Cundari, and Diana Wallace and her husband, Gregory; five great grandchildren, Joey Alexa, John, Diana, Julianna, and Johnny; her brother, Joseph Cretella of Whiting; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home at 9:00 AM on Saturday, March 28, 2015 for the procession to her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township.
