Obituary of Peggy Potter

Peggy Potter, 96, of Jackson passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Peggy was born and raised in the Adelphia section of Howell before moving to Jackson ten years ago. She was a seamstress for Brooks Brothers Factory in Manasquan before retiring in 1998 and was a member of ILGWU. Peggy was predeceased by her husband, Robert Potter in 1993; and a son, Michael Sagan in 2008. She is survived by a son, Gary Sagan of Jackson; a daughter-in-law, Margaret Sagan of Farmingdale; three step-children, Maryann, Robert & Marlene; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, March 30, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM funeral service at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Farmingdale. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Peggy may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
