Obituary of Thomas Kaznowski
THOMAS G. KAZNOWSKI, 87, of FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, died Thursday, July 17, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Mr. Kaznowski was born and raised in Perth Amboy and moved to Freehold in 1968. Mr. Kaznowski was a U.S. Army veteran participating in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a former member of the American Legion Post, Staten Island. He was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, Freehold. Mr. Kaznowski was a self-employed sheet rock finisher.
He was predeceased by his brother, Stanley; and his sister, Caroline. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Amelia Lupoli Kaznowski; a son and daughter-in law, Thomas and Jennifer Kaznowski of Freehold Township; two grandsons, Thomas V. Kaznowski Jr. and Alexander Kaznowski; and a sister, Dorothy.
Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
