Obituary of Marina Voitko
Marina Voitko, of Edgewater passed away at home with her family by her side one day shy of her 45th birthday. Marina was born in Estonia and came to the United States in 2000. She went to school for a degree in literature, and enjoyed shopping, especially for shoes. Marina was an adoring and supportive mother, whose favorite holiday was Halloween. A nature-lover whose fitness was important to her, she loved life, was interested in recycling, and enjoyed organic foods.
Marina is survived by her daughter, Anna Maria Voitko of Edgewater; her mother, Ljudmila Rodionova of Brooklyn; her father, Ermolay Rodionov of Estonia; and two sisters, Svetlana Duhanina and her husband, Igor Duhanin of Russia, and Irina Santapaola and her husband, Ernest Santapaola of Aberdeen.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church, 316 Cassville Road, Jackson on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 10:30 AM for her 11:00 AM funeral service.
