The death of a loved one can be a very challenging time for everyone in the family. Coping with a loss is difficult and at times overwhelming. For many Gods word is a source of encouragement. While I dont know your family I have experienced losing a loved one in death and relying on the hope the Bible offers has helped. For instance Phillipians 4:13 gives us the strength to continue enduring. We also have the hope of the resurrection found at John 5:28,29. I sincerely hope that these scriptures help you in your times of sorrow.
Laura, Bill and Girls: I've come down with a cold, as of last night, so won't expose you all to my germs tonight, but you will be (and have been) in our thoughts and prayers. So very sorry for your loss.
There is no greater loss than losing a Mom; your best friend in life, whose been there in good times and bad, with patience, wisdom, and unconditional love. My heartfelt sympathy to all of the family members who lost this beautiful woman here on earth. Know that God's plan is greater and eternal life has shone upon her, and one day for eternity, all will be reunited. Celebrate the life and memories that you will hold with you for the remainder of your lives. And always know that heaven has one more angel watching over all of her family members. Death is not final; it is just a temporary seperation. God bless everyone during this heart wrenching time, and may you feel the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ embracing you and mourning with youi.
