Obituary of William Dillon

William C. Dillon, Jr., 52, tragically passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015 due to injuries sustained from being hit by a car. Billy grew up in Howell and graduated in the Howell High School Class of 1981. He was a butcher for many years at Shop n Bag in Farmingdale and a member of UFCW Local 464A. Billy was an avid Jets and Notre Dame fan who was very proud of his Irish Catholic heritage and even prouder of his three children. He was predeceased by his father, William "Bill" Dillon, Sr. in 1990; and his brother, Robbie Dillon in 2009. Billy is survived by his children, Crystal Ullrich, Melissa Ullrich and Matthew Ullrich, all of Toms River; his mother, Corinne Dillon of Brick; his brothers, Stephen Dillon and his wife, Maria of Toms River, and Jimmy Dillon of Brick; three sisters, Maureen Dillon of Tinley Park, IL, Laura Stallworth and her husband, Michael of Toms River, Barbara Scianna and her husband, John of Toms River; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, May 4, 2015 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at the Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 9:30 AM with his uncle, Fr. Ed Dillon officiating. Interment will be private.
