Obituary of Luigi Cipriani
Luigi Cipriani, 76, of Toms River passed away at Community Medical Center on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 with his family by his side. He was born in Italy, moving to the United States in 1962, and eventually settling in Toms River 10 years ago. Luigi was a painter for the Lakewood Board of Education for 19 years, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Lakewood Elks. Luigi was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His family always looked forward to his homemade Italian specialties. He enjoyed gardening, watching the Yankees, trips to Atlantic City, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and Vegas.
Luigi was predeceased by his parents, Cataldo and Maria Cipriani. He is survived by his wife, Diane Cipriani of Toms River; three sons, Louie Cipriani and his wife, Katia of Freehold, Aldo Cipriani and his fiancée, Lynn Rafael of Howell, and Gerard Cipriani and his wife, Wendy of Jackson; a daughter-in-law, Danielle Racioppi of New Egypt; and four grandchildren, JJ Cipriani, Nicholas Cipriani, Christopher Cipriani and Alyssa Cipriani.
A visitation will be held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, May 17, 2015 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 11:00 AM funeral service on Monday, May 18, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
