Obituary of Henry Bozenski

HENRY J. BOZENSKI, 82, of LAKEWOOD, passed away Sunday, August 3, at his residence. Mr. Bozenski was born in Wilkes Barre, Pa., and lived in Jackson before moving to Lakewood five years ago. Mr. Bozenski was a chemical engineer at International Flavors and Fragrances, Union Beach for over 30 years, retiring in 1988. Mr. Bozenski was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, Lakewood, and was a member of the Jackson Knights of Columbus. He was a former member of the Lakewood B.P.O. Elks. Mr. Bozenski served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Anna Prusecki Bozenski of Lakewood; daughter and son-in-Law, Michele and Glenn Bellomy of Jackson; one brother, John "Jack" Bozenski; and two granddaughters, Alexandra and Erin Bellomy. Henry was a devoted husband, wonderful father and grandfather. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Clayton and McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold Township. Relatives and friends may gather at 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday for the rite of committal at the funeral home, followed by his 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Mary of the Lake Church, 43 Madison Ave., Lakewood.
