Obituary of Rosaria Stein
Rosaria "Rose" Stein, 89, of Jackson passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Rose was born in Tuckahoe, NY, and raised her family in East Orange and Marlboro before settling in Jackson in 2005. Prior to retiring, she was employed as the supervisor of the cafeteria at Marlboro High School for 25 years. Rose was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed garage sales and trips to Atlantic City. A fan of watching the Food Network, Rose was known for cooking Italian delicacies. She was also a member of the Knitting Club at Four Seasons at Metedeconk, Jackson.
Rose is survived by her husband of sixty two years, Charles Stein of Jackson; her three sons, Charles Stein, Jr. and his wife, Paula of Indiana, Steven Stein and his wife, Dona of Howell, and Bruce Stein and his wife, Patti of Marlboro; six grandchildren, Christopher Stein and his wife, Rachel of South Amboy, Kellin Stein of Portland, OR, Stephanie Cunliffe and her husband, Zac of Forked River, Amanda Stein of Marlboro, Emmitt Stein of Indiana and Cory Stein of Marlboro; and two great grandchildren, Jaxon and Lucas Cunliffe.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at 9:00 AM at the funeral home on Saturday, June 6, 2015 for the procession to her 10:15 AM Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 16 McLean Street, Freehold. Entombment will follow in Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel.
