Obituary of Dorothy Husk

DOROTHY H. "MIMI" HUSK, 83, of FREEHOLD, died Monday, Aug. 4, at Care One at Jackson, Jackson. Mrs. Husk was born in Ambler, Pa., and had lived in Schwenksville, Pa., before moving to The Villages, Freehold in 1990. She worked in the Advertising Department for The Village News Letter for 15 years. Prior to that, Mrs. Husk was a secretary for 22 years with the State of Pennsylvania, Building Division, in the General Services Department, retiring in 1989. Surviving are a daughter, Tanya L. Van Vechten of Freehold; a grandson, Derrick L. Van Vechten of Red Bank; a brother and sister-in-law, Edwin H. and Pat Holt of Sellersville, Pa.; a nephew; and three nieces. Visiting hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside service at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Beulah Cemetery, New Britain, Pa.
