Obituary of Marianne Stauch

Marianne Ligo Stauch, 85, of Avon-By-The-Sea passed away on Friday, June 12, 2015 at Jersey Shore University Hospital, Neptune. Marianne was born in Neptune and was a lifelong resident of the Jersey Shore and a graduate of Asbury Park High School class of 1948. An avid reader her entire life, Marianne retired in 2008 after 25 years as the assistant librarian at Avon Public Library. Prior to her position as an assistant librarian, she was employed by Harry Crook Armored Car Service. Marianne also was an avid gardener and enjoyed tending to her garden. She was predeceased by her daughter, Beth Ann Stauch in 2010. She is survived by two sons, Thomas Stauch of Jupiter, Florida and Chris Stauch of Avon; her sister, Barbara Ligo of Avon; her brother, Charles Ligo of Freehold; a dear cousin, Anne Wardell of Neptune; and six nephews, Michael Stauch, Eric , Jason, Jeffrey, Stuart and Kenny Ligo. Per Marianne's wishes her funeral services will be private and donations in her name may be made to the Avon Public Library, 5th & Garfield Avenue, Avon-By-The-Sea, NJ 07717.
