Obituary of Kurt Lorenzen
Kurt C. Lorenzen, 64 of Jackson passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at home. Kurt was born in Teaneck, raised in Howell, lived in Point Pleasant, Howell, Silverton, and New Egypt before moving to Jackson in 2006. He was a territory manager for Rotary Corp., Georgia and retired in 2014. Kurt enjoyed repairing small engines, BMW motorcycles, and playing guitar. He was always helping his neighbors and was a sponsor of two children through Child Fund.
Kurt was predeceased by his parents, William C. and Claire Lorenzen, Sr. He is survived by his daughter Stephanie Lorenzen of Toms River; a brother, William Lorenzen, Jr. and his wife, Ellen of Newfoundland, PA; two sisters, Christine Urness and her husband, Todd of Abingdon, MD and Lisa Zmuda of Howell; four nieces; four nephews; two great nieces; one great nephew; and cousins, Judith Lorenzen and Richard Lorenzen.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 1:00 PM Memorial service at the Immanuel Bible Church, 1244 West Farms Road, Howell, on Saturday, July 18, 2015 with Pastor Joe Suozzo, officiating.
