Obituary of Robert Rifenburg

Robert "Bob" Rifenburg, 65, of Aberdeen passed away at The Atrium on Thursday, July 9, 2015. Robert was born in Jersey City on July 3, 1950 and lived in Keansburg and Matawan before settling in Aberdeen in 2013. He was a truck driver and operator for the State of New Jersey Department of Transportation. A car and truck enthusiast, he was an avid Yankee fan who enjoyed trips to Atlantic City. Robert was predeceased by his parents, William and Bernice Rifenburg. He is survived by one brother, Richard Rifenburg and his wife, Leslie of Freehold Township; three nephews, Ryan Rifenburg, Sean Rifenburg and Neil Rifenburg, all of Freehold Township; his aunt and uncle, Ray Rifenburg and his wife, Alberta of Middletown; his cousins, Larry and Marcia Morgan of Dover, DE; and many other cousins. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, July 12, 2015 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:00 AM memorial service on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Hope Lutheran Church, 211 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold Township .
