Obituary of William Rodgers

William D. Rodgers, Jr., 38, of Farmingdale passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. He was born in Lakewood and was a lifelong resident of Howell. An avid animal lover, Will was employed at 4 Paws Animal Hospital, Manalapan for sixteen years. He was known to friends and loved ones as The Mayor, and was loved by everyone who crossed his path. Will is survived by his spouse, Donald Ericksen of Farmingdale; his father, Will Rodgers, Sr. and his wife, Tina of Howell; his mother Diane Walsh Trushell and her husband, James Trushell of Howell; and his sister, Candice Rodgers of Howell. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 from 3:00 to 7:30 PM with his funeral service to follow at 7:30 PM.
