Obituary of Janet DeBiccari

Janet DeBiccari, 90, of Millstone passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Janet was born in Bayshore, NY and had lived in West Babylon, NY before returning to Bayshore. She lived in Los Angeles, CA and San Diego, CA prior to settling here in 2015. She was a homemaker and caregiver for her beloved family. A social butterfly at heart, Janet enjoyed knitting, needlepoint, and arts and crafts. Janet was predeceased by her husband, Joseph DeBiccari in 1976; her daughter, Kathy Shea and three sisters, Evelyn Karpowich, Betty Karpowich and Josephine Karpowich. She is survived by two daughters, Madlyn Straupe and her husband, Ansis, of Oregon, and Maryanne Butera and her husband, John, of Millstone; three grandchildren, Christina Butera, John Butera and his wife, Jackie, and Michael Butera; and one great granddaughter, Juliana Grace Butera. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 91 Stillhouse Road, Millstone. Inurnment will take place on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 12:30 PM in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, Long Island.
