Ode to Joe (Pop!) from A-Z
Playful attitude, always. Work and family was all that seemed to exist for him.
Brave enough to see it all through. Clever enough to always have a joke for you.
Devoted husband, father, father-in-law, and joyful Nonno.
Empathy existed in his bright eyes. Everyday effort in a long, hard career.
Family, period. And, okay..maybe some good seafood pasta.
Guided by an inner wisdom. Where did it come from?
Heaven will enjoy this happy soul.
I am glad for his example.
Jokes, jokes and more jokes. That was Joe.
He had the knowledge to laugh at life.
Loyal to the love of his life; Carmela.
Money was no object;
Nothing was too good for his family. Nonno was the best.
Pop was at home on the Ocean on his boat. Old was not a word for him, neither was Obstacle.
Pure joy in his heart and lots of pasta.
Quick to make you laugh. Then he would ask, "Why you so laugh?" He was the reason. A Rock to lean on.
Reminding us to provide a solid foundation for our children. His words: "Straighten up the trees while they're young". In other words, don't let my grandchildren go astray. Provide guidance and rules.
Thankful. How we all feel to have had him in our lives.
