Obituary of Emily Marzigliano
Emily DiLiberto Marzigliano, 56, of Howell, died Sunday, Sept. 7, with her family at her side, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, after a brave battle with cancer. She grew up in Manalapan and graduated from Freehold Borough High School. She held long successful careers as a store manager for Pathmark Supermarkets, and a sales representative for The Prudential Insurance Companies before retiring three years ago. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister. Among her passions in life were cooking, traveling, loving and respecting animals and being the bond that kept her family together.
She was predeceased by her father, Frank DiLiberto; and a brother, Gary S. DiLiberto. She will be forever in the hearts of her surviving family members, her husband of 18 years, Mark Marzigliano; her son, Robert S. Hart and his fiancee, Sabrina Silva of Hallandale, Fla.; her son and daughter-in-law, Michael H. and Sarah K. Hart of Plainfield, Ill.; her mother, Dorothy DiLiberto of Manalapan; her brother, Frank DiLiberto of Manalapan; and her sister, Marie Sylvester of Interlaken.
Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. Relatives and friends may gather at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home for the Rite of Committal, followed by her 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Veronica's Catholic Church, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell.
