Obituary of Concetta Catalano

Concetta Catalano, 91, of Freehold Township passed away at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital on Thursday, October 9, 2015. She was born in Norwalk, CT and lived in Jersey City until 1991 when she moved to Freehold Township. Concetta enjoyed sewing, and loved cooking Italian food for her family, her specialty being rice balls. Concetta was predeceased by her daughter, Geraldine Besante in 2003. She is survived by her devoted husband of 68 years, Gerardo Catalano of Freehold; her daughter, Lynn Feeney and her husband, Jack of Succasunna, Roxbury Township; her son-in-law, George J. Besante of Freehold Township; and her granddaughter Lauren Feeney of Succasunna, Roxbury Township. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM funeral service on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C.
