Obituary of Christopher Lyttle

Christopher Joseph Lyttle, 30, of Brick Township passed away surrounded by his family at Ocean Medical Center at Brick on Thursday, October 15, 2015. Chris was born in Red Bank and was a lifelong resident of Brick. He was a graduate of Lincoln Technical Institute in Union, and was a self-employed auto mechanic. Chris was an amazing mechanic and had a warm place in his heart for his dog, Spot. He had a love for music and was an exceptional artist. Chris was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Arline Lyttle; his maternal grandparents, Ernest F. and Marjorie M. Blakeley; and two uncles, Joseph Lyttle and Kevin O'Grady. He is survived by his parents, Christopher D. and Kim Lyttle of Brick; two brothers, Matthew E. Lyttle of Brick and Daniel A. Lyttle of Neptune; three aunts, Judith Blakeley of Long Branch, Debra O'Grady of Wall, and Barbara Lyttle of Freehold Township; and his cousins, Connor Lyttle, Caitlin Lyttle, Meghan Lyttle, Kevin M. O'Grady and his wife, Paula, Jeremiah O'Grady and his wife, Maria, and their children, and Julie O'Grady. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Sunday, October 18, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM with his funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM.
