Obituary of Margaret Hayden

Margaret M. Hayden of Freehold passed away on Monday, March 26, 2012 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Margaret was born in Bayonne, NJ and had lived in Jersey City, NJ before moving to The Villages, Freehold in 1975. She was employed by Prudential Insurance in their Newark and South Plainfield locations for over 30 years before retiring in 1982. Margaret was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Freehold Township. She was a graduate of the Academy of St. Aloysius High School, Jersey City and a member of its Alumni Association. Margaret was a member and former Treasurer of St. Marks Rosary Altar Society in Sea Girt and member of the Spring Lake Women's Club, the Spring Lake SCAMPS, and the Howell Friendship Club. She was also a member of the Prudential Retirees Club. She was predeceased by her husband, John Hayden; a daughter, Margaret and a brother Thomas Manning. She is survived by two sons, Dennis Hayden of Freehold and Stephen Hayden and his wife, Cynthia of South River; a daughter, Dorothy Rodziewicz and her husband, Robert of Ocean Township; two granddaughters, Patricia and Kathleen; two sisters, Sister Mary Stephen Manning, MSC at St. Joseph's Hospital, Paterson and Jeanne Gallagher of Hightstown, NJ; and many nieces and nephews. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Rite of Committal at the funeral home on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 9:00 AM followed by her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township.
