Obituary of Victoria McCue
Victoria McCue, 85, of Manalapan passed away with her family by her side on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was born in Bogota, Colombia and had lived in Queens, NY, and Elizabeth and Roselle Park, NJ prior to settling in Manalapan in 2003. She was a line worker for Quaker Oats, Elizabeth for over 35 years retiring in 1998. Victoria also worked as a server at El Pescador, Roselle Park. She lived a very active lifestyle, enjoyed walking the mall and the beach, and her annual family trip to the Jersey Shore. She cherished her close friendships at Covered Bridge tremendously.
Victoria is survived by her husband of 58 years, Eugene Edward McCue, who she met on a blind date at Rockefeller Center. She is also survived by her daughter, Debra Powell and her husband, David, of Williamston, MI; her son, Kevin McCue and his wife, Charlotte of Freehold Township; and five grandchildren, twins Taylor Victoria Powell and Harrison David Powell, and Wesley Daniel McCue, Justin Edward McCue and Jennifer Noelle McCue; her great granddaughter, Isabel; and her brother who she shared a very close relationship with, Carlos Morales and his wife, Melba, and their children of Queens, NY.
Friends and Family may gather at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass on Friday, October 23, 2015 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 16 McLean Street, Freehold.
