Obituary of Eileen Phillips

Eileen Phillips, 69, of Wall Township, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2015 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York City, after a brief illness. Eileen was born in Neptune and was a resident of Wall Township for forty four years. She was a graduate of Neptune High School Class of 1964 and was a beautician at Professional Beauty Shop in Asbury Park for twenty years until retiring in 1989. Following her retirement, Eileen worked as a receptionist for Dr. O'Neill's office in Avon. She loved, above all else, her family, her friends, and her animals. Devoted to her family, her days were spent laughing with, caring for, and watching out for all of them, especially her husband. Eileen was predeceased by her sister, Doris Cadigan and her brother, Bill Deeves. She is survived by her loving husband of forty six years, Chet Phillips; her brother, Bob Deeves and his wife, Terry Deeves, of Neptune City; her sister-in-law, Suzanne Thomas and her husband, Frank "Ozzy" Thomas of Highlands; and many nieces and nephews. She will also be dearly missed by her best friend, Barbara Buonocore. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township with entombment to follow in St. Anne's Cemetery, 1610 Allenwood Road, Wall Township 07719.
