Obituary of Gerard Russillo

GERARD "RUSS" RUSSILLO AGE: 78 HOWELL Gerard "Russ" Russillo, 78, of Howell, died Wednesday, Sept. 17, at Care One at Wall, Wall. Mr. Russillo was born in Bronx, N.Y. and had lived in Huntington, Long Island, N.Y. before moving to Howell in 1971. He worked in sales for GE Medical Sales, Long Island, N.Y. until his retirement in 1998. Mr. Russillo was a parishioner of St. Veronica Catholic Church, Howell, where he was a member of the Rosary Society, the Men's Club and the Adoration Society. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. He was predeceased by his wife, Joan, in 2001. Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Russillo of Essex Fells, and Eileen Naegele of Howell; and two grandchildren, Maximilliam Naegele and Kirstin Naegele. Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. Relatives and friends may gather at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home for the Rite of Committal followed by his 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Veronica Catholic Church, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell. Burial will follow in Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls.
