Obituary of Antonio Crescente

Antonio Crescente, 83, of Freehold Township passed away surrounded by his family at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township on Monday, November 9, 2015. He was born in Barletta, Province Bari, Italy. Antonio came to the United States in 1955, settling in Brooklyn. He moved to Freehold Township in 2008. Antonio was self-employed in Brooklyn in the apparel industry until his retirement. He was a parishioner of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colts Neck, and enjoyed traveling. A generous man, his devotion was for his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Antonio was predeceased by his sister, Maria Cuonzo. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Antonette Crescente; three children, Loreta Youssef and her husband, Magdi H., of Cary, NC, Grace Crosby and her husband, Paul, of Freehold Township and Frank Crescente of Fort Myers, FL; six grandchildren, Hakim T. Youssef, Magdi A. Youssef and his wife, Sara, Antun M. Youssef and his wife, Margaret, Jennifer Boodey and her husband, Anders, Paul Michael Crosby, and Emily Antonette Crosby; two great grandchildren, Maya and Isaac; three brothers, Savino Crescente, Giovanni Crescente and Paolo Crescente; two sisters, Vincenza Crescente and Elena Setaro; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, November 12, 2015 and Friday, November 13, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at 8:30 AM on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at the funeral home for the procession to his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1 Phalanx Road, Colts Neck, NJ 07722.
