Obituary of Donna McCandless

Donna Rudd McCandless, 53, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel after a courageous battle with cancer. Donna was born in Neptune and was a lifelong Ocean Township resident before moving to Jackson in 2003. She was a graduate of Ocean Township High School Class of 1977. Donna worked for Warshauer Electric, Tinton Falls, was a real estate agent for Gloria Nilson, Ocean Township and most recently had worked for Home Depot, Neptune. She was a member of the Cancer Support Community, Tinton Falls. Donna was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Marilyn Rudd. She is survived by her husband, Bill McCandless; her son, Jimmy Risden and his wife, Chrissy, of Howell; her daughter, Danielle McCandless of Jackson; two grandchildren, Hayden and Riley; two brothers, Randy Rudd and his wife, Robin, of Neptune City, and Jimmy Rudd and his wife, Debbie, of Lake Como; and her nieces and nephew, Taylor, Lauren, Ashley and Michael. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, April 1, 2012 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Monday, April 2, 2012 at the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls.
