Frank T. "Sonny" Myer Jr. U.S. Marine Corps vet, 69 Frank T. 'Sonny' Myer Jr., 69, of Manalapan Township died on Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008, at Raritan Bay Medical Center at Old Bridge. Visiting is at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Rd., Freehold Township, on Friday, Sept. 26, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friends and relatives are invited to attend his funeral service at 8:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Born and raised in Newark, Mr. Myer lived in Irvington and the Highlands before moving to Manalapan Township. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was the owner and operator of Pick-A-Car Auto Repair and Used Car Sales, Newark. He was predeceased by his sister, Elaine Myer, and is survived by a daughter, Paula Fleming of Hazlet; his companion of 28 years, Ann D. Yeachshein of Manalapan Township; two granddaughters, Heather and Melissa; a sister, Frances 'Sissy' McLachlan of Ormond Beach, Fla., and four nephews, Nick, Steven, John and Paul.
